Sinis, the Peninsula of Silence. It is not that of the quartz beaches taken by storm by summer tourism eager for a selfie at Is Arutas or the beach umbrella at the Island of Mal di Ventre. Rather, it is that of walks along coastal paths, over hilltops topped by Nuraghi, views of lagoons, ponds, fishponds, the sunken port of Tharros and the charms of Mont’e Prama. It’s everything you don’t see going out to sunbathe, including the fragility of a Nature that in this area still communicates that you can live differently. This we wanted to enhance by saving the Limolo earthen houses, organizing workshops, screenings, meetings, exhibitions, and everything you won’t find in the usual hotel and B&B.
