What to do in Sardinia and in Cabras

Enjoy Sardinia with Us

At Limolo, we don't just host you and call it a day. We want to share our own emotions with you, guiding you towards hidden corners (which we intentionally won't disclose here), tranquil beaches, and sustainable activities, thanks to a selected team of specialized guides, producers, and operators chosen by Limolo for their commitment to the environment.

Mullet and roe, sandstone, mud brick. Typical architecture and local traditions. Often time seems to stand still here. Cabras is today this and much more.

The west coast of Sardinia offers unforgettable sunsets over the sea. Here in Sinis is a coastline of “preciousness”: quartz beaches, Is Arutas and Mari Ermi the most famous.

The Sinis-San Giovanni Peninsula offers trekking routes that are a journey within a journey: from the beaches and wilderness in the Sinis Marine Protected Area to the rich history of the ancient city of Tharros.

Cabras is home to the largest pond of the same name in Sardinia, among the most important in Europe in terms of biodiversity. Numerous species, including the pink flamingo. Articulated throughout the area is an important system of ponds and lagoons to explore by bicycle and on foot.

Cabras is renowned for the production of high-quality botargo, made from the eggs of mullet caught in the waters of the pond of the same name. A prized gourmet ingredient in Sardinian cuisine, it contributes to the region’s food and wine reputation. Therefore also referred to as the “gold of Cabras.”

Santa Maria di Pittinuri is a small seaside village set in a natural landscape of extraordinary beauty. Characterized by towering limestone cliffs, pebble and sandy beaches, and a crystal clear sea that fades into shades of blue and green. A “must” during your stay in Limòlo.
